Windows vs MacOS

It’s a difficult choice between MacOS and Windows 11. Both operating systems are built on top of Linux. If you’re using a laptop, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of the Windows Hello feature, which allows you to unlock your device with your face. Software quality updates are more important than new features.

If you don’t have any preference for either, then it really just comes down to whether you want to use windows or apple products. If you’re someone who prefers to be able to use all your devices in sync with each other, then go with windows. The biggest security threat to Windows users is hackers. It’s a common misconception that if something is free, it can’t be good, but that’s not always the case. However, if you’re not careful, there are some free Windows apps that can put your computer at risk. The most important software update is the one you didn't have to do. The fewer updates you have to push, the more successful your product will be. That's why continuous delivery and continuous integration are so important.

I personally prefer mac OS and I’m aware many people like windows (I’ve used both). It all comes down to personal choice and what you’re familiar with. If you’re a windows user, I’d recommend trying out a mac and vice versa if you’re a mac user. Windows is the most used operating system in the world which means it’s also the most exploited. In fact, Microsoft says it discovered a new type of attack that could allow hackers to take over Windows-based devices, even when they’re fully patched. With Apple’s latest software update, the company has also updated its quality update page. The page now lists all of the security updates and bug fixes that were included in the latest update. This is a great change because it helps users to understand what was fixed and how it was fixed.

Windows 11 is not a bad operating system; it’s quite good in fact. And Microsoft has made some improvements with the latest version. Still, there are so many reasons why it’s impossible to recommend this OS over macOS. Windows is more vulnerable to malware, viruses and hackers. Windows is the most widely used operating system in the world and so a lot of people and businesses use it, that makes it the target of hackers who would want to take advantage of this. Software quality updates are more important than everyone else thinks. Even if you’re not working in tech, you should definitely be aware of them. Software companies will often release software updates on a rolling basis and they’re often released with new features but also to fix issues.
